Bartender/Server

Responsibilities

• Take orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS
• Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely manner while maintaining high service standards
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
• Ensure food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas
• Assist with setting up and breaking down service stations before and after shifts
• Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere, addressing any questions or concerns professionally
• Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously, demonstrating excellent time management skills
• Follow all health and safety regulations related to food service and alcohol consumption

Requirements

• Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Ability to handle cash handling responsibilities accurately and efficiently
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Basic math skills for order calculations and cash transactions
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods effectively
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed in the hospitality industry
