About the Role
Pullman Kuching is looking for a Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team. You will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages while ensuring a friendly, professional, and enjoyable experience for our guests.
You will work closely with the F&B team to maintain high service standards, product quality, cleanliness, and smooth daily operations of the bar.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
- Provide friendly and professional service to guests.
- Take beverage orders and ensure orders are served accurately and promptly.
- Maintain good knowledge of the beverage menu and make recommendations to guests when required.
- Ensure the bar is clean, organised, and properly set up before and during service.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory and beverage requisitions.
- Follow proper procedures for handling cash and POS transactions.
- Maintain proper hygiene, food safety, and workplace safety standards.
- Handle guest requests and feedback professionally.
- Support promotions, events, and special activities organised by the hotel.
- Work closely with other F&B team members to ensure smooth service.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Bartender or in a similar F&B role.
- Experience in a hotel, restaurant, bar, or hospitality environment is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of beverages, cocktails, and bar service.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Friendly, confident, and positive personality.
- Able to work well as part of a team.
- Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Good command of English. Additional languages are an advantage.
- Food safety and hygiene knowledge is an advantage.
- Open to Malaysian candidates only, with preference given to local Sarawakian candidates.
Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
