Bartender

Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and skilled Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will excel in creating a welcoming atmosphere, mixing drinks with precision, and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong understanding of food safety, beverage preparation, and efficient service to ensure our guests have an enjoyable experience. The bartender will be responsible for managing bar operations, serving drinks, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS.
• Greet guests warmly and take drink orders with attention to detail.
• Ensure all beverages are prepared according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces in compliance with food safety standards.
• Monitor guest consumption to promote responsible drinking and prevent over-service.
• Restock bar supplies as needed, including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and glassware.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service in a lively environment.
• Follow all food handling procedures and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.

Experience

• Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred, especially in bartending or serving roles.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is highly desirable.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Experience in hospitality or food service environments demonstrating excellent time management skills.
• Ability to multitask efficiently during busy hours while maintaining high-quality service standards.
