Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, managing POS systems, and ensuring food safety standards are maintained. Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred, along with strong time management and cash handling skills. The successful PERSON in this position will play a key role in enhancing guest experiences and maintaining the smooth operation of our bar area.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently
• Use POS systems such as Square POS to process orders and payments
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to ensure excellent customer service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
• Restock bar supplies as needed, including garnishes, glassware, and beverages
• Ensure responsible alcohol service by monitoring guest consumption and adhering to legal requirements
• Assist in food handling when necessary, including serving food items to guests
• Manage multiple tasks effectively through strong time management skills

Experience

• Prior experience in food industry or restaurant environment preferred
• Familiarity with Square POS or similar POS systems is a plus
• Proven ability in serving, cashiering, or bartending roles demonstrating excellent customer service skills
• Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
• Strong math skills for basic calculations related to orders and cash handling
• Experience in hospitality or food service positions that require multitasking and quick thinking
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
