Bartender (Barista) - Hyatt Regency Kuala Lumpur at KL Midtown

Summary

Responsible for preparing and serving beverages, including coffee, tea and other specialty drinks, while providing excellent customer service. Ensures beverage quality and consistency, maintains cleanliness of the bar or coffee station, handles customer orders and follows food safety and hygiene standards. The role requires good communication skills, attention to detail, product knowledge and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.

•Experience as a Bartender, Barista or in the Food & Beverage industry is preferred.

•Fresh candidates with a positive attitude are encouraged to apply.

•Good communication and interpersonal skills.

•Strong customer service and hospitality mindset.

•Knowledge of coffee preparation, beverage-making techniques and equipment operation is an advantage.

•Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

•Basic cash handling and POS system skills.

•Strong attention to detail, cleanliness and hygiene standards.

•Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

•Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
