Barista/Cashier/Customer Service

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated team member to join our team. You will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, preparing food, and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. You will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while ensuring that all food safety and handling standards are met.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, including processing transactions and managing cash.
• Prepare food
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
• Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and ensuring satisfaction with their experience.
• Uphold food safety standards by following proper handling procedures at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
• Engage with customers to create a friendly atmosphere, fostering repeat business through exceptional service.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
• Basic math skills, including retail math for accurate transaction processing.
• Experience with POS systems; familiarity with Aloha POS is a plus.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations.
• Previous experience in the food industry or retail environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.16 - $15.30 per hour
