Barista/ server- part time

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and hardworking Barista / Server to join our friendly team.

The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for great coffee, excellent customer service and working as part of a busy team. You should be confident and experienced on a professional coffee machine and have excellent barista skills, including the ability to create a full range of latte art.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing high-quality coffee to a consistently excellent standard
• Creating professional latte art across a range of coffee styles
• Taking customer orders and providing friendly, attentive service
• Serving food and beverages efficiently and professionally
• Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming coffee station and service area
• Working effectively as part of a busy team
• Providing a warm and positive experience for every customer
• Following food safety, hygiene and health & safety standards
• Supporting the wider team with general café duties when required

The Ideal Candidate

• Minimum 2 years' experience working as a barista
• Highly confident using a commercial coffee machine
• Excellent coffee-making skills and able to produce all major styles of latte art
• Friendly, approachable and naturally welcoming with customers
• A strong team player with a positive attitude
• Hardworking, reliable and enthusiastic
• Able to work calmly and efficiently in a busy environment
• Flexible and willing to help wherever needed
• Available to work midweek and occasional weekends
• Takes pride in their work and has a strong eye for quality and presentation
• Previous café or restaurant serving experience is essential
