Barista

Job Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-oriented Barista to join our coffee shop team. The ideal candidate is passionate about coffee, enjoys interacting with customers, and can prepare high-quality beverages while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso-based drinks, teas, and other beverages according to company standards.
• Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately.
• Operate cash registers and process payments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, dining area, and equipment.
• Replenish supplies, ingredients, and display items as needed.
• Educate customers about menu items and make recommendations.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a barista.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn coffee preparation techniques and product knowledge.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of espresso machine operation and coffee brewing methods.
• Experience in food and beverage service.
• Food safety certification (if required by local regulations).

Pay: AED1.00 - AED2.00 per month
