Lake Effect Lounge is seeking a talented and motivated Barber to join our growing team in Grand Bend. We are creating a modern, community-focused grooming destination that combines exceptional service, a welcoming atmosphere, and a commitment to helping clients look and feel their best.

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about barbering, values customer relationships, and takes pride in delivering high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional barbering services including:
• Men's haircuts
• Fades and taper cuts
• Beard trims and shaping
• Straight razor services (where permitted)
• Children's haircuts
• Styling and grooming consultations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Recommend retail products and grooming solutions
• Manage appointments efficiently and maintain punctuality
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment
• Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and styles

Qualifications

• Licensed Barber or Hairstylist in Ontario (or currently completing certification)
• Previous barbering experience preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Existing clientele is considered an asset but not required
• Experience with online booking systems is an asset
