Bar Staff

Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Bar Staff. This role involves providing excellent service to patrons in a fun and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, good organisational skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills within the hospitality industry while ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve drinks to customers in a courteous and professional manner
• Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt delivery
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area throughout shifts
• Check identification to verify legal drinking age
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the POS system
• Restock supplies and ensure all bar equipment is functioning correctly
• Assist in setting up and closing down the bar at the beginning and end of each shift
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and addressing any queries or concerns promptly

Skills

• Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not essential
• Strong knowledge of responsible alcohol service desirable
• Excellent serving skills with a friendly and approachable manner
• Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
• Effective time management to ensure timely service during busy periods
• Ability to work well within a team and independently when required
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or during peak hours as needed

Pay: £12.50-£14.00 per hour
