Automotive Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, and maintenance, with experience working on a variety of vehicle makes and models. This role involves performing comprehensive repairs to ensure optimal vehicle performance and customer satisfaction. Candidates with knowledge of automotive electrical systems, and proficiency with hand tools and power tools are highly preferred. The Automotive Technician will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity of our service operations through expert technical skills and excellent customer service.

Duties

• Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including suspension parts, water pumps, timing belts, spark plugs, charging system parts, starters and any maintenance parts. Includes doing oil changes, brakes, alignments \& tires.
• Must be skilled at diagnostics!! This is a must!
• Must be skilled at changing engines, transmissions, repairing head gaskets \& any other heavy mechanical repairs.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized automotive repair tools to execute repairs efficiently and safely.
• Conduct wheel alignments and perform vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met.
• Repair or replace vehicle components such as transmissions, powertrain parts, sensors, and electrical systems.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic
• WE REQUIRE A 1 WEEK WORKING INTERVIEW. THIS IS A MUST!
• Familiarity with automotive schematics, ADAS systems, alignment procedures, and vehicle maintenance protocols.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and other automotive repair tools.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately.
• Excellent mechanical knowledge combined with problem-solving skills.
• Service technician experience is highly desirable.
• Valid driver’s license; ASE certification or manufacturer-specific certifications are a plus.

Pay will be based on experience and your performance during the working interview! Pay is commission based with 30 hour minimum pay. You will receive a one -week vacation after being here for a year. All techs get parts at cost for their own personal vehicles. Paid holidays. We work Monday - Friday from 8am - 5pm. We do not work on the weekends! Must be able to work well with others and have a positive attitude with the people you work with and the customers if needed. MUST HAVE OWN TOOLS, TOOLBOX AND A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
