Automation Tester (TOSCA)

As an Automation Tester (Tosca), you will support the development, execution, and maintenance of automated testing solutions across enterprise applications. You will work with multiple automation technologies, contribute to automation enablement initiatives, and help ensure the quality and reliability of complex systems through robust automated regression testing.

What You’ll Do and How You’ll Succeed

Automation Development and Maintenance

• Develop and maintain automated tests using tools such as Tosca, Playwright, JavaScript, and API automation frameworks.
• Support the enhancement and maintenance of test automation frameworks and automated regression suites.
• Contribute to automation enablement initiatives that improve testing efficiency and coverage.

Automation Assessment and Planning

• Review the existing automation landscape, including tools, scripts, frameworks, and automation coverage.
• Analyse business and technical requirements to determine automation opportunities.
• Identify required test scripts, scenarios, and data to support automated execution.

Test Data and Execution

• Coordinate with stakeholders to identify, create, and obtain test data.
• Execute automated test scripts across supported applications and environments.
• Validate results and ensure automation outcomes align with expected behaviour.

Defect Management

• Log, track, and retest defects identified during test execution.
• Support issue resolution activities by providing clear defect documentation and validation.

Testing Innovation and Enablement

• Support the development, enhancement, or integration of AI assisted tools related to testing and productivity enablement.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across automation and quality assurance practices.

We’d Love to Hear From You If…

Experience

• You have experience supporting enterprise scale or complex systems.
• You have experience building, maintaining, and executing automated regression suites.
• You have worked across multiple automation tools and technologies.

Technical Expertise

• Experience with Tosca automation testing.
• Experience with Playwright, JavaScript, and API automation.
• Understanding of automation frameworks, regression testing, and test data management.
• Ability to work in environments where tool selection varies based on system requirements or use cases.
• Familiarity with AI assisted testing tools or automation productivity tools is an advantage.
