ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR / SENIOR LECTURER / LECTURER MARITIME MANAGEMENT SECTION, UNIKL MIMET

KEY ROLES :

• Conduct teaching and learning activities, including the development of teaching materials, preparation and delivery of lectures, and the design, review, and continuous improvement of courses and academic programmes.
• Engage in research and innovation activities, with a focus on producing high-impact publications and leading or facilitating research initiatives.
• Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students in the Maritime Operations and Management programme, providing academic guidance and support to facilitate their academic and research development.
• Support consultancy projects and contribute to institutional development initiatives and other academic or administrative activities.

REQUIREMENTS :

• PhD / Master in Maritime Operations and Management, Supply Chain Management, Maritime Logistics, Maritime Studies, or other related fields, provided the candidate possesses relevant industry experience.
• 3 – 10 years of teaching experience in an academic institution. Relevant industry experience, particularly in maritime logistics and transportation, will be an added advantage.
• Excellent communication skills, extensive experience in managing teaching and learning activities, and demonstrated involvement in research and development.
• An active publication record is preferred. A minimum H-index of 3, indexed in Scopus or Web of Science (WoS), will be an added advantage
