Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional patient care and possess a strong foundation in various dental procedures. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
- Execute a variety of dental procedures including but not limited to general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and dental extractions.
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to ensure efficient patient care and comfort.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Implement aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide high-quality patient care.
- Stay current with advancements in dental technology and practices, including proficiency in software such as Eaglesoft.
- Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care strategies.
Experience
- A degree in Dentistry from an accredited institution is required.
- Previous experience in a dental clinic or office setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with dental terminology, medical documentation, medical imaging, anatomy knowledge, and infection control practices is essential.
- Experience with root canal therapy, dental fabrication, and pediatric dentistry is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
