Associate Dentist

Job Summary

Duties

• Perform thorough dental examinations, including the assessment of dental and medical histories
• Diagnose dental conditions utilizing clinical skills and diagnostic tools such as CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software for restorative procedures
• Develop personalized treatment plans and communicate options clearly to patients
• Carry out various dental procedures including fillings, crowns, extractions, and preventive care
• Utilize dental office management software such as Dentrix and Epic to document patient records accurately and efficiently
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless patient flow and exceptional care delivery
• Provide specialized care for pediatric patients (Pediatrics), ensuring comfort and understanding during treatments
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and stay informed about the latest industry practices

Requirements

• Valid state license to practice dentistry with current credentials in good standing
• Proven experience working in a dental office environment with familiarity using Dentrix or similar practice management software
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health record systems is highly desirable
• Experience providing pediatric dental care (Pediatrics) preferred
• Strong understanding of medical terminology related to oral health and general medicine
• Hands-on experience with CAD technology for restorative procedures is a plus
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain treatment plans clearly and empathetically
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
