Associate Business Analyst

We are looking for a motivated Associate Business Analyst to join our team in Guildford, Surrey. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for candidates who want to develop skills in business analysis, customer engagement, and process improvement within a fast-paced technology environment.

You will work closely with customers, internal teams, and technical engineers to gather requirements, support solution delivery, and improve business operations.

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Analysis \& Requirements Gathering

  • Gather and analyse customer requirements, translating business needs into structured solutions
  • Conduct customer profiling and identify key business objectives
  • Prepare clear documentation including reports, proposals, and process notes
  • Support data analysis and interpret findings to assist decision-making

Stakeholder Communication \& Client Engagement

  • Act as a point of contact to communicate with stakeholders via email, phone, and meetings
  • Participate in client discussions to understand requirements and propose suitable solutions
  • Deliver presentations and product demonstrations to support client understanding

Process Improvement \& Operations

  • Analyse existing business processes and recommend improvements for better efficiency
  • Support workflow optimisation and contribute to operational best practices
  • Assist in coordinating project rollout by liaising with customers and internal teams

Project \& Administrative Support

  • Maintain accurate records using internal systems (ERP/CRM)
  • Track customer interactions, enquiries, and project progress
  • Support cross-functional teams including sales, technical, and operations

Preferred Skills

  • Basic understanding of business analysis, data analysis, or related fields
  • Strong communication and ability to manage stakeholder relationships
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Logical thinking and structured problem-solving ability
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar tools is an advantage
  • Knowledge of IT systems or software is a plus

Working Hours

Full-time – 37.5 hours/week (Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm)

Salary

£21,600 – £25,200 per annum
(Equivalent to £1,800 – £2,100 per month)

  • Experience or knowledge in IT is advantageous
  • Proficiency in modern foreign languages (e.g. French, Spanish) is a plus
