About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Application Developer specializing in Private Cloud Automation to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will contribute to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of applications supporting the Private Cloud Infrastructure. Under guidance, you will learn and apply established standards and security guidelines, participating in various stages of the software development lifecycle

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain runbooks and enhance automation scripts to enhance productivity for internal system administrator
• Support the development, modification, and updating of source code for automation scripts and other tools that streamline private cloud operations and application deployment.
• Requirements gathering and feedback from users to improve on existing workflow and automation
• Participate in designing and implementing automation workflows for monitoring and day 2 operations within the private cloud environment.
• Participate in support of existing applications to answer user queries and raise improvements as enhancements
• Follow through on release management of application to production including testing, remediating security vulnerabilities and upgrades to existing components on a timely basis

Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) activities.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash) and an eagerness to learn about private cloud technology.
• Proficiency in one or more types of web frameworks (Django, Spring Boot, Express)
• Familiarity with foundational concepts of CICD processes.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of database technologies (SQL, indexing, Optimization, Normalization)
• Basic knowledge of application security best practices.
• Ability to learn and contribute to technical documentation.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Exposure to unit testing methodologies.

Good-to-have:

• Knowledge of cloud technologies and an interest to pick up the internal workings of private cloud – Storage, Compute, Network
