Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – Supply Chain Management to oversee end-to-end supply chain operations for a prominent pharmaceutical client's manufacturing facility.

Location: Kulim, Kedah

Industry: Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities:

1. Procurement \& Vendor Management: Source raw materials, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier performance.

2. Inventory Control: Optimize stock levels, minimize wastage, and ensure accurate reconciliation.

3. Logistics Coordination: Oversee inbound/outbound logistics for smooth material and finished goods delivery.

4. Production Support: Align supply chain schedules with manufacturing requirements to ensure zero downtime.

5. Compliance \& Leadership: Maintain strict health, safety, and regulatory standards while leading and developing the supply chain team.

Requirements:

-Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or equivalent.

-Experience: 4–6 years of relevant experience in supply chain/logistics, preferably within the manufacturing or healthcare industries.

- Skills: Strong understanding of ERP systems, excellent negotiation tactics, and solid problem-solving abilities.

- Attributes: A proactive, solution-oriented leader with a sharp eye for operational excellence.
