JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. The Assistant Restaurant Manager will play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of service, quality, and customer satisfaction. This position requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering a superb dining experience.

Job description:

A Assistant Restaurant Manager is responsible for the smooth running of a restaurant, including: -

• Leadership: Leading and inspiring staff, delegating effectively, and managing conflicts.
• Customer service: Maintaining a welcoming atmosphere and training staff to do the same.
• Monitoring safety: Overseeing food safety and theft prevention, and monitoring local laws and creating guidelines for staff and customers.
• Communication: Having strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ensuring customer satisfaction: Actively seeking feedback from staff and guests.
• Preparing shift schedules: Creating and managing staff schedules to balance the needs of the restaurant with staff availability.
• Training in food safety: Ensuring food safety procedures are followed and maintaining safe working conditions.
• Financial management: Overseeing cash handling procedures, reconciling receipts, and preparing financial reports.

Other responsibilities include monitoring inventory and maintaining knowledge of restaurant equipment and facility maintenance.

Job requirement:

• Education: A diploma / bachelor's degree in hospitality management or business management or equivalent.
• Experience: Experience in the restaurant industry, especially as a manager.
• Industry knowledge: Knowledge of the restaurant industry and connections within it.
• Software skills: A comfortable understanding of restaurant software.

Fixed Allowances: Meal RM200 \& Travelling RM100.

Location: Kuala Lumpur / Selangor

Pay: RM2,400.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
