We are looking for an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager with a strong luxury hospitality background. Candidates with experience in 5-star or 4-star hotels, Forbes standards, and Pan-Asian cuisine outlets will be highly preferred.
Job Description:
The Assistant Restaurant Manager supports daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional guest service, smooth workflow, and high-quality dining standards. This role involves supervising staff, maintaining service excellence, optimizing operational efficiency, and supporting revenue growth in a premium dining environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing daily restaurant operations and service flow
- Ensure outstanding guest experience and Forbes-level service standards
- Supervise and train front-of-house staff to maintain excellence
- Support staffing schedules, attendance, and performance management
- Maintain quality control for food presentation, service, and cleanliness
- Handle guest feedback, complaints, and service recovery professionally
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service
- Monitor inventory, stock levels, and operational costs
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and brand standards
- Assist in achieving sales targets and improving restaurant performance
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Experience in 5-star or 4-star hotels (mandatory)
- Forbes standards background (added advantage)
- Experience in Pan-Asian cuisine restaurants preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and guest relations skills
- High attention to detail and service excellence mindset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-end restaurant environment
