About the Opportunity

Our client is an established real estate organisation with a strong presence across Asia. They are looking for an experienced

Assistant Manager, Retail Leasing

to join their Singapore retail property team.

This is an opportunity for a leasing professional to take ownership of a

well-established suburban shopping mall

, managing the full leasing cycle while contributing to tenant-mix strategy, occupancy and the overall commercial performance of the asset.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the

end-to-end retail leasing cycle

, including prospecting, negotiations, renewals and lease documentation.

Source and engage prospective tenants to maintain a strong and relevant

tenant mix

.

Negotiate commercial terms with new and existing tenants, including rental rates, lease tenure and other key terms.

Manage lease renewals and proactively engage tenants on retention and expansion opportunities.

Conduct market research and monitor

retail trends, competitor malls, rental benchmarks and tenant performance

.

Identify suitable retail concepts and brands that complement the positioning and customer profile of the mall.

Prepare leasing proposals, reports, rental comparisons and recommendations for management.

Track leasing pipeline, occupancy, lease expiries and other key leasing metrics.

Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, tenants, property agents and other industry stakeholders.

Work closely with

Marketing, Operations and Property Management teams

on tenant openings, mall initiatives and asset performance.

Support budgeting, forecasting and other leasing-related planning activities.

Ensure leasing activities and documentation are completed in accordance with internal policies and requirements.

What We're Looking For

Diploma or Degree in

Real Estate, Business, Marketing or a related discipline

.

Approximately

4–7 years of relevant retail leasing experience

.

Prior experience handling leasing for

shopping malls or retail properties

is strongly preferred.

Good understanding of Singapore's retail landscape, tenant mix and leasing market.

Demonstrated experience in

tenant sourcing, lease negotiations and renewals

.

Strong commercial awareness with the ability to assess rental and leasing opportunities.

Confident communicator with strong negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.

Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.

Candidates currently working with

landlords, REITs, property owners/developers or established property management firms
