Assistant Manager - F&B Operations

Truffle Honey Catering at Ballybunion Golf Club are seeking an Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team at the Lounge at Ballybunion Golf Club.

The Role

As Assistant Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our operation – leading from the floor, driving service standards, and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our members and guestsl. You’ll support our senior management team while mentoring and motivating our front-of-house staff to deliver seamless, high-energy service in a positive forward thinking organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee floor operations during service, ensuring a smooth flow and exceptional guest experience.
• Support in the training, coaching, and mentoring of our bar and floor teams.
• Maintain the highest standards of service across the restaurant and bar.
• Ensure compliance with health \& safety, and company procedures.
• Take an active role in upselling and driving revenue through guest engagement and service excellence.
• Handle cash and payment procedures with accuracy and responsibility.
• Be the there for the team, solving issues in real time and leading by example.

About You

• Previous experience in a leadership role within the F\&B industry.
• Strong F\&B experience ideally at a 4 or 5* level.
• Knowledge of the Irish golf industry preferable .
• You’re calm under pressure, adaptable, and love being on the floor during a busy service.
• Ability to manage costs on a day to day basis within agreed budgets.

Pay: €30,000.00-€35,000.00 per year
