Assistant Graphic Designer

Job Description:

We are looking for a talented and creative Graphic Designer Assistant to join our design team. The ideal candidate will support our senior graphic designers in creating visually appealing and effective design materials. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a passion for design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist senior graphic designers in creating graphics, layouts, and visual elements for various projects, including marketing materials, social media content, advertisements, and websites.
• Prepare rough drafts and present ideas for approval.
• Collaborate with the design team to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Help manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to deadlines.
• Develop design concepts and execute them using graphic design software.
• Create and edit images, illustrations, and other design elements as needed.
• Ensure all design work aligns with the company’s brand guidelines and standards.
• Maintain consistency in design elements across various platforms and mediums.
• Organize and maintain digital files, including images, graphics, and project documents.
• Prepare and optimize files for print and digital use.
• Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and techniques to bring fresh ideas to the team.
• Conduct research on design trends and competitors’ visuals to inspire and inform design work.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating with vendors and clients.
• Prepare and compile reports, presentations, and other documents as needed.

Qualifications:

• Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in graphic design or a similar role.
• Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and take direction from senior designers.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Attention to detail and a passion for creativity and design.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with web design and familiarity with HTML/CSS.
• Knowledge of motion graphics and video editing software.
• Basic photography skills.
• Familiarity with user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
