About the role
The Assistant Brand Manager will support the Marketing Manager in driving the strategy, planning and execution of marketing initiatives for the assigned Coffee category. This role requires a hands-on marketer who is able to independently manage projects from planning through execution, strengthen brand presence, monitor business and consumer performance, and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver business growth.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Marketing Manager in developing and executing annual and tactical marketing plans for the assigned Coffee category.
- Take ownership of day-to-day brand management and ensure timely execution of agreed marketing initiatives.
- Plan, coordinate and execute integrated 360° marketing campaigns including digital, social media, consumer activation and new product launches.
- Prepare regular brand performance reports, campaign reviews, management presentations and post-campaign evaluations.
- Support New Product Development (NPD), including consumer/market assessment, concept development, packaging, pricing, launch planning and go-to-market execution.
- Work closely with Sales and CCD Team to develop channel and customer-specific activities that improve brand visibility, trial, distribution and sales.
- Monitor marketing expenditure and assist in managing the marketing budget against approved plans.
About you
- Diploma or Degree, preferably in Marketing, Market Research, Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years in FMCG industry or equivalent.
- Knowledge in Microsoft Power Point, Excel and Word.
- Knowledge and experience in using Nielsen/NIQ market data and retail measurement reports will be an added advantage.
- Good command of English \& Bahasa Malaysia is required.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Pay: RM6,700.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
