Architect / Interior-Focused All-Rounder, Sydney

JMA is looking for a Graduate of Architecture or Registered Architect with 5+ years of local experience and strong Vectorworks skills. You'll run projects end-to-end, including concept design, construction documentation, client/consultant/builder liaison, and site attendance during construction, with a particular focus on interior design for single dwelling projects (renovations and new builds). This role will be a full-time 3 month contract, with potential extension pending performance and business requirements.

Requirements:

- Bachelor or Master's degree in Architecture

- Local Sydney architectural experience, ideally on single dwelling projects

- Excellent knowledge of Vectorworks

- Interior design experience

- Experience with local DA, CDC and CC applications, and the NSW Planning Portal

- Strong construction detailing skills

- Solid knowledge of the National Construction Code and Australian Standards relevant to residential construction

- Proven ability managing client and consultant relationships

- Local architecture registration desirable but not essential

- 3D modelling experience is a plus

- Must currently live in Sydney, Australia
