Job description

We are looking to hire a talented and experienced Arabic-speaking Video Editor to join our busy production team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling recorded film and video footage, editing Arabic-language video content, applying creative editing techniques, and producing high-quality final videos that accurately reflect the vision of the production director.

The ideal candidate must be fluent in Arabic, with the ability to understand Arabic dialogue, captions, and content flow to ensure accurate editing, timing, subtitles, and overall presentation for Arabic-speaking audiences.

To ensure success as a Video Editor, you should have strong knowledge of modern video editing techniques, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work according to strict deadlines. You should also be able to visualize directorial concepts and creatively transform raw footage into engaging, broadcast-worthy video content. Ultimately, a top-notch Video Editor can perfectly translate ideas into beautifully crafted Arabic video productions suitable for digital platforms and broadcasting.

Responsibilities:

• Meet with the director and production team to understand the creative vision and editing requirements for Arabic video content.
• Review raw footage and organize clips according to production needs and shot lists.
• Edit Arabic-language videos using modern editing software and techniques.
• Ensure accurate synchronization of Arabic dialogue, subtitles, captions, sound effects, and transitions.
• Maintain video continuity, pacing, and storytelling flow throughout the project.
• Trim footage and assemble rough and final cuts within the required timeline.
• Insert music, graphics, animations, visual effects, and other creative elements where necessary.
• Collaborate closely with the content and marketing team to create engaging videos suitable for social media and promotional campaigns.
• Ensure all edited videos meet brand guidelines, quality standards, and platform requirements.
• Create visually appealing content for digital marketing, advertisements, and social media platforms.
• Stay updated with current video editing trends, especially for Arabic digital and social media content.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Film Studies, Cinematography, or any other related fields.
• Able to edit videos for social media platforms
• Previous work experience as a video editor.
• Skilled in editing software, including Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro X, Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, and Premier.
• Creative and artistic skills.
• Familiarity with 3D composition and special effects.
• Portfolio of completed film productions.
• Ability to work to a tight schedule.
• Ability to translate ideas into complete projects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,200.00 per month
