We are currently looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Finance team.

As an Accounting Assistant, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient posting of bank statement transactions to the financial system, investigating unrecognized payments and liaising with internal or external parties. In addition, you will be responsible for issuing recharges to the internal counterparties.

Responsibilities in this role will be:

  • Identify and post multi-currency cash receipts for all bank accounts for entities within your scope
  • Allocate cash receipts in accordance with remittance advice
  • Follow up and identify unknown cash receipts via the bank, internal or external partners
  • Reconcile the daily receipt posting journal to the bank statement, enter adjustments and corrective journals
  • Collaborate with internal team and external customers to resolve raised issues in a timely manner
  • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve open balance discrepancies
  • Prepare reports related to daily and monthly activities
  • Issue intercompany recharges
  • Create and update process documentation

We are looking for you to have:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree (Business/Finance preferred)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Account Receivable
  • Advanced level of English (additional language would be an asset)
  • Good MS Excel skills
  • Very good communication skills
  • Analytical skills and superior attention to detail
  • Self-motivated to drive for high service standards
