Churchfield Home Services is seeking an Apprentice Plumber to join our growing retrofit and energy-efficiency team in the Dublin region.
This is an excellent opportunity to build a long-term trade career while working alongside experienced plumbers on real, high-quality projects. You’ll learn the practical, safety, and technical skills required to qualify as a plumber, while contributing to the delivery of modern, low-carbon heating and plumbing systems in Irish homes.
At Churchfield, apprentices are supported, trained properly, and treated as valued team members — not cheap labour.
What You’ll Do
- Assist qualified plumbers and supervisors with plumbing and heating installations
- Prepare tools, materials, and work areas in line with RAMS
- Carry out basic plumbing tasks under supervision (pipe cutting, fitting, fixing supports)
- Learn correct installation methods for retrofit plumbing and heating systems
- Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities as directed
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment at all times
- Participate in toolbox talks, on-site coaching, and safety briefings
- Follow CHS SOPs, quality standards, and site instructions exactly as trained
- Handle materials responsibly and support correct waste segregation
What You’ll Need
- Registered Plumbing Apprenticeship with SOLAS (or actively working towards registration)
- Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and develop technical skills
- Strong attention to safety and quality
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude
- Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling (or willingness to complete)
- Full, clean B driving licence
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
