Job Profile: Application Analyst
Role Purpose
The Application Analyst – Website Support is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and enhancing the organization’s public websites and related digital platforms. The role ensures platform stability, timely issue resolution, effective coordination with business and technology stakeholders, and successful delivery of website changes across development, testing, and production environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day application support for corporate websites, Sitecore CMS,
- SharePoint-based pages, website components, forms, product catalogues,
- campaign pages, and related integrations.
- Monitor and resolve production issues, including website availability, page
- rendering issues, form submission errors, broken links, content publishing
- problems, performance issues, and component defects.
- Coordinate with internal business teams such as Marketing, Digital Banking, Cyber
- Security, Infrastructure, and Operations to understand requirements, validate fixes,
- and ensure timely closure of issues.
- Work closely with vendors and managed service providers to investigate defects,
- review technical findings, track action plans, and ensure delivery within agreed
- timelines.
- Support release activities across SIT, UAT, and Production environments, including
- package validation, deployment coordination, smoke testing, post-deployment
- verification, and issue tracking.
- Assist in security, performance, and resilience-related reviews by providing URLs,
- test data, evidence, clarification, and coordination support to assessment teams.
- Review and validate website enhancements, new components, content migrations,
- forms, APIs, and integration changes before business sign-off and production
- rollout.
- Maintain clear communication with stakeholders by sharing status updates, issue
- summaries, timelines, risks, dependencies, and escalation points.
- Support CMS users and content authors by clarifying configuration steps, reviewing
- content-related issues, and coordinating fixes where system changes are required.
- Prepare and maintain support documentation, user guidance, release notes, RCA
- inputs, issue logs, and operational records for audit and continuity purposes.
Required Technical Knowledge
- Hands-on understanding of CMS platforms, preferably Sitecore, including content
- structures, components, publishing, forms, workflows, and back-office
- configuration.
- Working knowledge of website technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, APIs,
- web forms, content delivery environments, and hosting concepts.
- Experience supporting application environments such as Development, SIT, UAT,
- and Production.
- Understanding of incident management, change management, release
- management, and production support processes.
- Awareness of website security, vulnerability remediation, performance testing,
- monitoring alerts, and operational resilience requirements.
- Ability to review technical findings, coordinate with developers, and translate
- business issues into actionable technical requirements.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in website application support, CMS support, digital platform
- operations, or application production support.
- Experience working with Sitecore, SharePoint, cloud-hosted websites, website
- forms, product catalogue integrations, and digital marketing platforms.
- Experience coordinating with vendors for managed services, support contracts,
- release delivery, and defect resolution.
- Experience in banking, financial services, or other regulated environments where
- audit, security, and production stability are critical.
