Job Description

Job Summary:

The Airport Operations Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for monitoring and improving operational compliance across airport and ground handling activities to ensure adherence to company standards, Transport Canada regulations, airline requirements, and Porter's Safety Management System (SMS)

The role supports operational excellence through trend analysis, corrective action tracking, procedural reviews, quality assurance audits, and continuous improvement initiatives related to aircraft damage, ramp, baggage, passenger handling, and weight \& balance operations.

This position works closely with Airport Operations leadership, Airports Process \& Training, Porter Safety and airline stakeholders/partners to identify operational risks, improve procedural compliance, and enhance operational safety and efficiency.

This role demands strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret and represent operational data, identify trends, assess operational risk, and provide data-driven recommendations to improve compliance, safety, and operational performance across airport operations.

Duties \& Responsibilities: * #### Analyze operational performance, safety and inspection data to identify trends, recurring discrepancies, procedural non-compliance, emerging operational risks and procedural improvement opportunities. * #### Develop and maintain QA dashboards, KPI monitoring, compliance metrics, and trend reports using reporting tools such as Excel,Google sheets, Tableau , Power BI, or similar. * #### Collaborate with Process and Training departments to identify procedural gaps and recommend targeted improvement initiatives. * #### Utilize KPI-driven metrics to monitor operational and safety performance. * #### Conduct operational quality assurance audits and inspections across Porters network, including Station start-up inspections and vendor oversight. * #### Monitor compliance with: Porter Airport Operations Standards Company policies and SOPs Transport Canada regulations IOSA and ISAGO requirements Safety Management System (SMS) requirements * #### Prepare detailed audit reports, corrective action plans (CAPs), and compliance summaries * #### Track and follow up on corrective and preventive actions to ensure timely closure and effectiveness. * #### Support investigations relating to operational irregularities, aircraft damage, baggage discrepancies, loading deviations, or safety events. * #### Review operational procedures, manuals, checklists, and work instructions to ensure regulatory and operational compliance. * #### Knowledge of Transport Canada and Canadian Transportation Agency requirements is an asset * #### Actively participates in Porter’s Safety Management System (SMS), including reporting hazards and incidents, and promotes the Company’s Safety Policy. * Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: * University degree and/or acceptable combination of education, training and/or related work experience * Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Quality assurance, Safety assurance, Data Analysis, or equivalent. * Certified Auditors are preferred (ISO/ASQ) * Demonstrated experience utilizing PMP and/or Lean Six Sigma principles * Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience in quality management principles and quality assurance is preferred * Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret operational data, identify trends, determine root causes, and provide data-driven recommendations to improve compliance, safety, and operational performance. * Superior written and verbal communication skills * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to adapt quickly to new situations, problem solve and affect positive change in a fast paced, dynamic environment * Ability to Tavel across Porter’s network - Primarily Canada, USA, Mexico, Caribbean (25%-40% depending on operational requirement) * Flexibility and availability to work varied hours, including weekends, if required. * Able to obtain and hold all required security clearances, airport passes, and along with the ability to travel internationally (Canada, USA, Mexico, Caribbean)
