ALUMINUM AUTOCAD DRAFTMAN

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Aluminum AutoCAD Draftsman to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation drawings for aluminum and glass works. The ideal candidate should have experience in the aluminum industry and be proficient in AutoCAD.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and as-built drawings for aluminum and glass projects.
• Develop technical drawings based on project specifications, architectural drawings, and site measurements.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure drawing accuracy.
• Prepare material take-offs and cutting lists as required.
• Revise drawings based on consultant comments and project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and company procedures.
• Maintain proper documentation and drawing records.
• Assist the production and installation teams with technical support when required.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Civil, Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in aluminum and glass drafting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of aluminum systems, curtain walls, windows, doors, partitions, and façade works.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• UAE experience in aluminum and glass industry.
• Knowledge of fabrication processes and site installation requirements.
