Job Overview
As an Air Export Customer Service Executive, you will oversee end-to-end air freight shipment coordination, ensuring smooth execution, on-time performance, and proactive management of service exceptions. You will act as the key liaison between operations teams, carriers, overseas offices, and customers, ensuring accurate shipment updates, compliance with SOPs, and high service reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the central control point for all assigned air freight shipments, ensuring full operational visibility.
- Monitor shipment milestones proactively and ensure on-time departure and arrival performance.
- Coordinate closely with operations teams, air carriers, overseas offices, and service providers to ensure seamless execution.
- Manage exceptions, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions to minimize service disruption.
- Ensure accurate documentation, data entry, and compliance with internal SOPs and customer requirements.
- Prepare and analyze KPI reports, performance dashboards, and customer service metrics.
- Conduct root cause analysis for service deviations and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain clear and proactive communication with stakeholders regarding shipment status and operational updates.
- Support strategic planning and optimization of air freight flows when required.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in air freight or air cargo operations (minimum 1 year).
- Chinese speaking and writing is required to liaise with customers from China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.
- Strong communication and coordination skills in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Detail-oriented with good problem-solving ability.
- Able to work independently and handle shipment exceptions proactively.
- Responsible, proactive, and able to meet deadlines.
