AI Technology Director

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic AI Technology Director to lead our organization's artificial intelligence initiatives and technology infrastructure. This leadership role requires a deep understanding of AI systems, software development, cloud computing, network security, and project management. The ideal candidate will drive innovation, oversee AI projects, and ensure the seamless integration of AI solutions within our enterprise environment. Strong leadership, communication skills, and expertise in modern IT and AI tools are essential to succeed in this role.

Duties

• Develop and execute the strategic vision for AI technology initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
• Lead cross-functional teams in designing, developing, and deploying AI applications using languages such as Python, Java, C#, and HTML.
• Oversee the architecture and deployment of cloud-based solutions utilizing AWS, Azure, VMware vSphere, and virtualization technologies like Citrix.
• Manage system administration tasks including Windows Server environments, Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, SCCM, DHCP, IIS, VPNs, firewalls, TCP/IP configurations, and network infrastructure including Cisco routers and WAN setups.
• Ensure robust information security and network security protocols are implemented across all systems; manage PCI compliance and disaster recovery plans.
• Oversee DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines using tools like PowerShell, PowerShell DSC, SolarWinds, and Microsoft Project for project tracking.
• Manage databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, SAN storage solutions, and APIs integration for scalable data management.
• Implement virtualization strategies using VMware vSphere and vCenter; optimize system performance through SAN management and virtualization best practices.
• Lead IT support operations including help desk services, technical support for enterprise applications like Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel PowerPoint), Microsoft Project, SharePoint, Jira for project tracking, SCCM for system management.
• Collaborate with vendors for procurement and management of hardware/software resources; oversee vendor management processes.
• Drive innovation through research on emerging AI trends; oversee application development following SDLC methodologies within Agile frameworks.
• Provide leadership in system engineering projects involving computer networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DHCP; configure firewalls and VPNs to secure enterprise networks.
• Facilitate disaster recovery planning and implement security measures including PCI standards; manage network security policies to safeguard organizational assets.
• Communicate technical strategies effectively across executive teams; lead IT project management efforts ensuring timely delivery of AI projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in IT leadership roles with a focus on AI technology development or related fields.
• Extensive knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure; experience with virtualization technologies like VMware vSphere and Citrix.
• Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript, Java, C#, HTML; experience with application development frameworks including .NET/.NET Core.
• Proficiency in database management systems such as SQL Server, Oracle; familiarity with SAN storage solutions.
• Deep understanding of network infrastructure including Cisco routers, TCP/IP protocols, VPNs, firewalls; expertise in computer networking concepts like WAN configurations.
• Experience managing enterprise IT environments involving Windows Server (2012/2016/2019), Microsoft Exchange Server, SharePoint Online/On-Premises.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines; familiarity with tools like PowerShell scripting and SolarWinds monitoring solutions.
• Strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability to manage cross-disciplinary teams; excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.
• Ability to oversee multiple projects using project management tools such as Microsoft Project or Jira within an Agile environment.
• Relevant certifications preferred: AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Developer; VMware Certified Professional; CISSP or CISA certifications are a plus. Pay: $15,000.00-$20,000.00 per month
