AI Engineer (LLM & RAG) | Python | Azure | Hybrid – Barcelona

What are we looking for?

We are looking for 2 AI Engineers to join an international development team working on a Quality Monitoring Scoring System built with Python, Azure Functions, LLMs and RAG.

You'll contribute to the development and maintenance of scalable Python microservices, integrate Generative AI solutions into production environments, apply prompt engineering techniques, and work within a fully automated CI/CD environment. This is an excellent opportunity for engineers who enjoy building robust backend solutions while working with the latest AI technologies.

Location: Barcelona (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

Start date: ASAP

Mandatory:

• 4–7 years of professional experience in software development (slightly less may also be considered).

• Strong professional experience with Python in backend and microservices development.

• Proven hands-on experience implementing LLM and RAG use cases in production environments.

• Professional experience with Prompt Engineering.

• Experience working with Azure (preferred) or another cloud platform such as AWS.

• Experience working in CI/CD environments with automated deployment pipelines.

• Experience developing scalable backend services and APIs.

• Fluent English and Spanish.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Azure Functions, App Services, Cosmos DB and Azure Key Vault.

• Knowledge of DevOps practices.

• Experience integrating AI capabilities such as Speech-to-Text and other AI models into production.

• Experience designing or implementing Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) solutions using LLMs.

• Experience with Node.js and Microsoft Bot Framework.

• Experience monitoring, troubleshooting and optimizing backend services and AI deployments.
