AI Copywriter

Billion Media is a growing digital marketing company based in Liverpool. We specialise in search engine optimisation and PR and have a keen interest in the legal sector.

This role is ideal for someone who understands how to leverage AI tools to produce high-quality written content at scale, while maintaining a strong focus on clarity, accuracy and human tone.

You will be responsible for generating and refining content across multiple WordPress websites to support our broader content and marketing objectives.

Content Creation \& Optimisation

• Use AI-powered tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Gemini and similar platforms) to produce a minimum of 4 high-quality articles per day
• Create prompts that provide the necessary context, constraints, and instructions to turn a general-purpose model into a specific, useful tool.
• Produce AI templates to create learning patterns that are relevant, high-quality, and accurate content, bridging the gap between raw AI potential and user
• Follow structured content briefs, SEO guidelines and brand tone of voice
• Ensure content meets keyword targeting and topical coverage requirements
• Adapt content for different audiences and industries where required

Editing \& Humanisation

• Proofread and edit AI-generated content to ensure:
• Accuracy and factual correctness
• Natural, engaging and human tone
• Clear structure and readability
• Remove generic or repetitive phrasing commonly associated with AI-generated text
• Enhance content with examples, nuance and clarity where needed, and add natural calls to action
• Content must be relatable and familiar content
• The main aim is to produce content that is persuasive and attractive to the user

Content Formatting

• Upload and format articles within WordPress CMS, including:
• Headings (H1–H3 structure)
• Internal linking
• Meta titles and descriptions
• Image placement (where applicable)
• Adding images
• Ensure all content is correctly categorised and optimised for on-page SEO
• Using AI models to convert content into rich, attractive elements using the likes of HTML

Content Updates \& Refreshing

• Review and update existing content using AI tools to compare, contrast and fill content gaps
• Using AI tools to analyse competitor content and provide recommendations
• Ensure accuracy, relevance and alignment with current SEO best practices
• Refresh older articles to improve performance, including enhancing structure, expanding topical depth and refining keyword targeting
• Use AI tools to support content updates while ensuring all revisions are properly humanised and maintain brand tone
• Using ChatGPT or Gemini to identify opportunities to improve underperforming content based on data and team guidance
• Ensure all updated content is correctly formatted and republished within WordPress, maintaining consistency across the site

Team Support \& Collaboration

• Assist the wider team with additional tasks as required, including:
• Content updates and refreshes
• Basic research tasks
• Supporting SEO and marketing initiatives
• Communicate effectively with team members to meet deadlines and priorities

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to £26,000.00 per year
