We are seeking to appoint an Accounts Assistant / Office Administrator to join our team.
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm; however, we are open to discussing flexible working arrangements, reduced hours, or part-time options for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of accounting and administrative duties, including:
- Inputting of receipt dockets on receipt of stock.
- Matching of purchase invoices to receipt dockets.
- File, scan and index invoices to support timely payment processing.
- Support month end and year end deadlines by ensuring tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Regularly deal with customers, including taking phone orders, answering queries, and occasionally following up with regular customers regarding expected orders.
- Manage ad hoc purchasing of small-quantity stock from a range of online suppliers, using judgement to select suppliers based on price, availability, and lead time.
- Maintenance of company’s National Fleet Database account.
- Perform general administrative and ad hoc finance duties as required.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a transactional finance or accounts support role.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Confident communication skills with the ability to liaise at all levels.
- Highly numerate with the ability to interpret financial data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
- Reliable, efficient and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
