- Manage and prepare full sets of accounts for a portfolio of clients, including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliations and preparation of financial reports.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline, and/or a relevant professional accounting qualification.
- Preferably with 2 years of relevant accounting experience. Candidates with less experience but relevant accounting knowledge may also be considered.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and preparation of full sets of accounts.
- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, MYOB or similar accounting systems will be an advantage.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to communicate in Mandarin is required for this role as the employee will need to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients on accounting records, financial information and tax-related matters.
- Good interpersonal and client service skills, with the ability to communicate professionally with clients from different business backgrounds.
- Well-organised, meticulous and attentive to detail.
- Able to manage multiple assignments, prioritise work and meet deadlines.

- Prepare quarterly GST computations and supporting schedules for review and submission to the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS).
- Assist in the preparation of tax computations for individuals, sole proprietorships, partnerships and corporate clients, as well as withholding tax matters.
- Ensure that accounting, GST and tax assignments are completed accurately and within the required statutory and internal deadlines.
- Liaise with clients to obtain accounting records, supporting documents and information required for the completion of assignments.
- Assist in handling queries and correspondence from clients and IRAS relating to accounting, GST and tax matters.
- Maintain proper accounting records and documentation in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide professional and high-quality service to clients and respond to client enquiries in a timely manner.
- Work closely with team members, supervisors and other departments to ensure assignments are completed efficiently.
- Perform other accounting, tax and administrative duties as assigned from time to time.
