We are seeking a part-time Accounts Assistant (15 hours per week) to support the Finance team and wider business with the accurate and timely completion of accounts payable activities.

This role requires flexibility around working hours to meet business needs.

Key Duties

• Maintain the accounts payable function, including entering and receiving purchase orders, entering supplier invoices, reconciling supplier statements, and assisting with monthly reporting.
• Assist with the accounts receivable function as required.
• Any other general finance tasks as required.

The Person

• One to two years’ experience in an accounts administrator role is desirable.
• Comfortably process high-volume accounts payable.
• Proficient in MS Office suite.
• Experience and understanding of accounting software packages.
• Organised and methodical work methods, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work collaboratively as a team member.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
