Job Responsibilities:
* Assist in overseeing the full set of accounts and daily accounting operations.
* Review accounting transactions, reconciliations, ledgers, and supporting documents.
* Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and accounting reports.
* Monitor Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, cash flow, and other accounting activities.
* Coordinate monthly and year-end closing activities.
* Review project/job costing, inventory records, and related accounting information.
* Identify accounting discrepancies and assist in resolving issues.
* Assist in preparing audit, tax, and statutory schedules and supporting documents.
* Supervise and guide Accounts team members to ensure work is completed accurately and on time.
* Ensure accounting procedures and internal controls are properly followed.
* Assist in reviewing payroll and salary-related accounting records.
* Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and other external parties on accounting matters.
* Support management in accounting reports, budgeting, costing, and other accounting-related matters.
* Perform other ad-hoc accounting duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
* Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Accountancy, or a related field.
* Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and full set of accounts.
* Experience in supervising or guiding an Accounts team is an advantage.
* Familiarity with AutoCount Accounting System is an added advantage.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
* Able to work independently and handle multiple accounting tasks.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong teamwork and leadership abilities.
