Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Accounting lessons in accordance with the syllabus and scheme of work
  • Teach Accounting for IGCSE, A Level, and Foundation/IY1 programmes as assigned
  • Apply differentiated teaching strategies to meet the diverse learning needs and abilities of students
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment that promotes active learning and critical thinking
  • Prepare, administer, and mark assessments, assignments, and examinations
  • Monitor students’ academic progress and provide timely feedback, academic guidance, and intervention where necessary
  • Serve as a mentor and/or Form Teacher, providing academic and pastoral support to students
  • Communicate and collaborate with parents, academic staff, and student support teams regarding student progress and wellbeing
  • Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings, professional development activities, and school events
  • Support assigned co-curricular activities and undertake other duties as required by the School
  • Achieve assigned Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Requirements

  • At least a Master's degree in Accounting
  • Teaching qualification is preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in IGCSE, A Level, Foundation, or other international curriculum
  • Strong subject knowledge in Accounting
  • Ability to deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to students of varying abilities and backgrounds
  • Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and a collaborative team player

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $4,600.00 - $6,500.00 per month

Work Location: In person
