Job Description

We are looking for a data-driven Accounting Manager to support the local Country Lead and regional CFO across all finance functions in Bonsey Jaden. Your key responsibility is to help establish scalable and innovative financial and accounting processes in the local markets. You’ll be responsible for re-aligning all local finance processes, reporting and governance to the regional standard. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior finance executive to step into an independent role in the local markets. You will report directly to the regional CFO and CEO with a secondary dotted line to the country General Manager.

In order to be successful in this role, you are expected to accomplish the following:

• Maintain and enhance the regional accounting and billings system comprising XERO and financial spreadsheets for the local market. This includes but not limited to:
• Accurate tagging of all invoices and expenses
• Oversight of all account payables and receivables
• Ensure that all claims expenses and payables organised according to priority levels and are paid on time
• Send notifications to relevant parties when invoices are due and when payables are paid.
• Ensure proper accounting processes, practices and reporting in the market. This includes validating and tracking of all account payables, receivables and treasury management.
• Coordinate and manage the monthly P\&L reporting for the local market
• Lead all revenue tracking and monitoring by keeping accurate monthly projection versus actual revenue generated by markets
• Local Market OPEX tracking
• Ensure that OPEX is tracked and recorded accurately every month.
• All the above will require the maintenance of live digital financial dashboards to track daily cash flows, monthly OPEX, payables and receivables.
• Cash flow management
• Monitor weekly and month cash balances and cash forecasts in the market
• Develop and maintain a system where cash flow oversight can be tracked live

Qualifications

We are looking for a talent with the following key qualities:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or CFA/CPA certified
• Well-rounded technical skills in accounting, costing and financial/ strategic planning
• Great Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheet skills
• Proven track record of managing a team in a growing startup or mid sized firm across multiple markets. Experience of working with various Southeast Asian markets is a plus
• Excellent command of the spoken and written English Language
• Meticulous attention to details and organization
