Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our company . The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of accounting, financial reporting, VAT, and UAE accounting practices, preferably with direct experience in the construction sector.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and financial transactions.
• Prepare invoices, receipts, payments, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Handle bank reconciliations and cash-flow monitoring.
• Monitor project-related costs, expenses, and budgets.
• Maintain proper records of construction project expenses and subcontractor payments.
• Prepare and review supplier, subcontractor, and client accounts.
• Assist with payroll and other financial administration when required.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and applicable accounting regulations.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, suppliers, clients, and management.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of all accounting records.
• Support management with financial reports and accounting information as required
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CMA, CPA, etc.) will be an advantage.
