Company Description

(TRF Human Resources Consulting Co., Ltd.) is a professional recruitment consulting firm focused on connecting outstanding Asian professionals with trusted career opportunities in Taiwan. The firm specializes in placing white-collar professionals into leading Taiwanese enterprises, including roles in accounting, civil engineering, construction, and architecture-related fields. Founded in 2026, TRF is committed to a transparent, trustworthy, and candidate-centered recruitment process, supporting both job seekers and employer partners throughout every stage of the recruitment journey. Role Description
This full-time on-site Financial Accountant role is located in Taipei and supports one of TRF's client companies. The Financial Accountant will manage core financial accounting functions, including preparation of financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement) in accordance with IFRS or other relevant standards, cost and management accounting, and compliance with local tax regulations (VAT, corporate income tax, individual income tax). The role goes beyond traditional bookkeeping — the Accountant will act as a financial advisor, reading financial reports to identify business risks and opportunities, supporting budgeting and cost control, and safeguarding the integrity of company financial data. The role also involves maintaining accurate records in ERP systems, assisting with audits, and communicating financial insights clearly to non-finance stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in financial accounting, cost and management accounting, auditing, and up-to-date local tax law (VAT, corporate income tax, individual income tax).
  • Ability to read and analyze financial statements to identify business risks and opportunities; experience with budgeting and cost control.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar); familiarity with data analysis tools such as Python, Power BI, or SQL is a strong advantage.
  • High integrity and professional ethics — comfortable handling sensitive financial information as a non-negotiable principle.
  • Strong logical thinking and attention to detail, with sensitivity to identify discrepancies in complex accounts.
  • Excellent cross-departmental communication skills, able to explain financial data clearly to non-accounting managers and leadership.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA Taiwan, USCPA, CIA, CMA, or Bookkeeper certification) are a plus.
  • Experience in corporate or public accounting environments; prior work in Taiwan or familiarity with local regulations is an advantage.
  • Ability to work on-site in Taipei and adapt to a dynamic business environment while maintaining high ethical and professional standards.
  • Candidates are required to have at least 2 years of relevant working experience, supported by official documentation.
  • The company will sponsor a 3-month online Mandarin course.
  • Work in Taiwan
