ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

About the role

Media Smart Resources Sdn. Bhd. (since 2008) is seeking a dedicated Account Executive to join our dynamic team in Bandar Tun Hussein Onn, Cheras, Selangor. As an Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality bookkeeping and accounting services to our small business clients. This is a full-time position that offers opportunities for professional growth and development.

What you'll be doing

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for our clients, including bookkeeping, invoicing, and accounts payable and receivable
• Preparing financial statements, reports, and other documents to help our clients make informed business decisions
• Providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients, addressing their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Assisting with tax preparation and compliance, ensuring our clients meet all relevant regulatory requirements
• Collaborating with the broader team to streamline processes and implement best practices

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role, preferably within a small business or accounting firm
• Proficient in the use of accounting software, such as QuickBooks, Autocount, UBS or Xero
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
• A relevant tertiary qualification in accounting, finance, or a related field
