Job Description

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented 2D Graphic Designer to join our growing creative team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing visually engaging designs for events, marketing materials, and branding initiatives. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for design, excellent creative skills, and the ability to translate concepts into impactful visual communications while maintaining brand consistency across multiple projects.

Roles \& Responsibilities:

  • Create high-quality and visually engaging designs for various event materials, including invitations, save-the-dates, signage, banners, menus, programmes, and on-site branding elements.
  • Develop and maintain event brand guidelines to ensure a cohesive visual identity across all touchpoints.
  • Produce marketing collateral such as brochures, flyers, social media visuals, website graphics, and email templates.
  • Work closely with event planners and internal teams to understand project objectives and translate them into compelling visual concepts.
  • Manage multiple design assignments simultaneously while meeting project deadlines and quality expectations.
  • Present design concepts and creative ideas to clients and internal stakeholders for review and approval.
  • Stay updated on the latest design trends, tools, and best practices relevant to the events and creative industry.
  • Organize and maintain a structured library of design files, templates, and creative assets.
  • Coordinate and oversee print production processes to ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for event themes, branding, and visual concepts.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties and assignments as requested by the immediate supervisor.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 1 year of professional graphic design experience, preferably within the events industry or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, layout composition, and image editing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage strict deadlines.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of creative work, preferably including event-related projects.
  • Experience in print production and coordinating with external vendors is an added advantage.
  • Awareness of current event trends, creative concepts, and design styles.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality creative work.

Pay: Up to RM4,000.00 per month
