Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Technology, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Industrial Eng & Production, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Industrial Engineering, Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting & Information System
Experience
  • 3 to 5 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Garments, Textile

  • Age 25 to 35 years
  • Excellent communication (written/verbal) & presentation skills.

  • Ability to prioritize for deadlines.

  • Self-driven to work under pressure (pro-active attitude).

  • Positive work ethics and result oriented mindset for assigned responsibilities.


Responsibilities & Context

  • Take line plan & follow up with central planning (CP) to make the plan effective.

  • Preparation of OB (Operation bulletin), Calculation of SAM (Standard Allowed Minute) Line Set up, M/C Layout and Workstation layout.

  • Allocated required manpower in each operation line.

  • Daily manpower balancing, target setting & achievement monitoring.

  • Recommend new ideas and methods for increasing productivity and improving quality.

  • Ensuring NPT reduction, Lost time recording (NPT), Efficiency Calculation, Problem Study to develop Productivity.

  • Control extra OT in sewing by balancing line layout & insure target efficiency.

  • Build up capacity as per learning curve using different IE tools & production study of particular Operation.

  • Check all process correct SMV included in bulletin according to GSD.

  • Participation to risk analysis and PP meeting to identify the risk of all new styles.

  • Improve SMV by process improvement, innovation and update into GSD.

  • Define chassis and prepare QCO plan.

  • Prepare paper layout and setup line according to layout to optimize resources and efficiency.

  • Follow-up workload of sewing are equally balanced and human utilization.

  • Work with pre-production team to mitigate identified risk at the sample stage.

  • Follow-up all bulk sewing methods when production running.

  • Make lines properly balanced to achieve over the planned efficiency.

  • Take skill test of sewing operator and ironer according to evaluation procedure & update skill matrix.

  • Implement and maintain EOS.

  • Communicate with respective cross functional teams on corrective actions of any failure found it above processes.

  • Lead, motivate, train and appraise subordinates to accomplish business goal.

  • Ensure compliance with policies, Buyer requirements and laws of the Land.

  • Ensure Functional reporting, goal alignment & performance evaluation process (Monthly touch base).

  • Drive KAIZAN culture.

  • Develop operator’s skill inventory prior to upcoming style demand & develop production team as per requirement.

  • Analyze quality related data & find out the area of development.

  • Apply different types of Lean (7S, Kanban, Kaizen, SMED) in sewing floor to reduce wastage.

  • Contribute to GSD to enrich database & make successful practice in the floor.

  • Help floor staff to do effective line layout according to Operation Bulletin & Maintain QCO when new style feeding.

  • Line WIP (Work in progress) Control.

  • Skill Assessment for new joining operators and periodical skill assessment.
