Responsibilities & Context
Key responsibilities of an order processing executive include:
Order Entry: Accurately inputting customer order details including product information, quantity, shipping address, and payment method into the company's system.
Order Verification: Cross-checking order details against customer requests to identify and resolve any discrepancies.
Inventory Check: Confirming product availability in stock before processing an order. Customer Communication: Responding to customer inquiries regarding order status, shipping updates, and addressing any concerns.
Forward the orders: After verifying and checking stock of the website orders forward the orders to the customer support team with Tags or communicate with the customers to solve the issues.
Coordination: Coordinate with Customer Support, Fulfilment, and Inventory Department.
Order Fulfilment Coordination: Communicating with the warehouse team and fulfilment department to ensure timely picking, packing, and shipping of orders.
Invoice Generation: Creating and processing invoices for completed orders.
Payment Processing: Verifying payment information and processing transactions.
Backorder Management: Managing backorders and notifying customers about potential delays.
Data Management: Maintaining accurate customer and order data in the company system.
Reporting: Generating reports on order processing metrics like order volume, processing time, and potential issues.
