Responsibilities & Context
Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to achieve business objectives and increase market share.
Manage the sales team for sales growth and revenue enhancement & conduct market research to understand competitors and market trends.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and supply agreements with clients to maximize profitability.
Assist in the development of the annual marketing plan, specifically advising on: realistic forecasts for each product and territory (based on historical data, market trends, competitive activity, promotional strategy and sales effort), realistic costs of operating the sales force; and sales promotion program plans.
Develop and manage an efficient distribution and dealer network to improve sales performance.
Ensure that all sales personnel activities are by the guidelines of the Management.
Provide timely feedback to the sales personnel regarding their sales performance. Maintain credit norms & ensure collection of credit amount as per management approved norms.
