Bachelor's degree in social sciences, development studies, humanitarian affairs, or related field with Minimum 2 years of experience in community engagement, accountability (CFM), or MEAL roles and additional training in protection, accountability, or humanitarian principles is an advantage
Higher secondary with 3/ 4 years experience experience in community engagement, accountability (CFM), or MEAL roles and additional training in protection, accountability, or humanitarian principles is an advantage
Demonstrated experience in complaint handling and community feedback mechanisms
Previous experience working in humanitarian contexts, preferably in refugee settings
Experience with data collection, analysis, and report writing
Strong understanding of humanitarian principles and standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Proficiency in data management and analysis
Strong organizational and time management skills
Fluency in English and Bangla; knowledge of Rohingya language is a strong advantage
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and data collection tools (e.g., KoboToolbox)
Experience with CAIPP or similar case management systems
Experience of working in Rohingya Response
Flexibility and adaptability are essential, as well as the ability to plan, take initiative and organize work independently.

In Bangladesh, Acted started its activities in 2017 in order to respond to the Rohingya Refugee Crisis in the sectors of Site Management, Natural Resource Management, Community Protection, Information Management, Drain Monitoring & Intervention, SuLMER, Emergency Preparedness Response and CDCS in the Camps of the Kutupalong-Balukhali Expansion Site, Cox’s Bazar.
Key roles and responsibilities
CFM System Management and Implementation
Establish and manage CFM desks across assigned camps, ensuring accessibility, functionality, and compliance with Acted Bangladesh and UNHCR standards
Implement standardized procedures for receiving, documenting, and responding to complaints and feedback
Maintain confidentiality and data protection protocols in handling sensitive information
Process approximately 3,500 cases annually through established CFM channels
Ensure proper categorization and prioritization of cases according to established protocols
Manage the CAIPP (Centralized Automated Information Processing Platform) system for case tracking and referrals
Monitor and maintain quality standards in complaint handling and response
