Conduct Therapy Sessions
Provide individualized and group therapy sessions based on students' needs.
Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
Collaborate with Special Education Teachers
Review and follow the recommendations in teachers’ reports to align therapy sessions with educational goals.
Provide guidance on classroom strategies to enhance student engagement and progress.
Parent Training and Guidance
Educate and support parents in conducting therapy activities at home.
Provide personalized home programs to reinforce therapy progress.
Documentation and Record-Keeping
Prepare, maintain, and update all therapy-related documentation, including session notes and progress reports.
Ensure compliance with institutional and professional record-keeping standards.
Student Progress Evaluation and Reporting
Conduct assessments and track students' improvements in therapy.
Submit detailed evaluation reports every six (6) months for each student.
Interdisciplinary Coordination
Work collaboratively with teachers, psychologists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other professionals to develop comprehensive support plans.
Participate in team meetings to discuss student progress and intervention strategies.
Professional Development
Stay updated with the latest research, therapy techniques, and best practices in special needs therapy.
Maintain a Safe and Supportive Environment
Ensure therapy rooms and materials are organized and conducive to effective learning and intervention.
Promote a nurturing and inclusive environment that fosters student growth and confidence.
